Family of Stores, the nation’s 53rd largest supermarket chain,
out of Chandler, Arizona, has selected NaviStor, as their corporate
exception reporting solution. Also included in Bashas’ purchase
is NaviCase, Retail Expert’s incident tracking and case management
application. NaviCase will effectively manage Bashas’ internal
and external fraud and liability cases. Retail Expert will also
integrate Bashas’ existing digital CCTV store technology into
the solution providing a robust loss prevention tool to reduce shrink
and increase profits. This seamless, integrated approach developed
by Retail Expert will provide Bashas’ with a highly effective
loss prevention management solution.
Retail Expert Inc.’s software product, NaviStor manages Key
Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the retail enterprise with
a focus on reducing shortages and improving operational performance.
Key features include exception reporting, scorecarding, data mining,
and automated alerts. NaviStor will target fraudulent activity and
identify when company policies and procedures are not being followed.
In addition, NaviStor detects when an associate needs additional
training. NaviCase will provide Bashas’ with a tool to compile
and organize the data identified by NaviStor, as well as external
incidents uncovered by store and field personnel.
