Expert Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary and Record Earnings
in 1Q, 2006

- This month, Retail Expert celebrates
10 years of building superior customer relationships and delivering
world class products to the retail industry. These customer relationships
have allowed the company to deliver innovative software products
that reduce shrink and improve performance across the enterprise.

The first quarter of 2006 proved to be the most successful in our
company’s history. Several factors contributed to this success,
including:
- Three new customers, Weis Markets, Kohl’s Department
Stores, and Follett Corporation.
- Several new development contracts with existing customers.
- Expansion into Canada and Europe .
- The introduction of our MaintenancePlus program designed
to help our partners plan and budget for additional support.
- The rollout of NaviTrack, aimed at increasing profits and improving
vendor performance in the area of Direct-Store-Delivery.
- The launch of FS/Inventory, designed to provide a clear view
of inventory movement by UPC or SKU.
Several key personnel changes were announced. Mike Mitchell was
promoted to Director of Client Services, Andrew Sernekos was named
Chief Technology Officer, and Kelli Woelfel joined the Sales and
Marketing team. The company will add several new associates in the
first half of 2006.
“Revenue in the first quarter was up significantly compared
to last year,” said John Conmy, Executive Vice President and
co-founder. “Our internal restructuring helped improve our
performance and as a result, our sales pipeline is stronger than
ever. We continue to add customers, and expand our products for
our existing accounts.”
As Retail Expert enters its second decade, many new opportunities
lie ahead. However, several things will remain constant: the company
will continue to deliver outstanding software products and superior
